About Chaplain Jay Fielding
I was born into a middle‑class Jewish family in Jericho, Long Island, where I lived from age four through sixteen. My childhood was stable and full of opportunity — something I later realized was a blessing many people never receive. That awareness shaped my compassion, but it did not prevent my own collapse.
By age twenty‑six, my life was in ruins. That meant broken relationships, poor decisions, financial instability, emotional turmoil, and a deep spiritual emptiness. Everything I had tried to build on my own strength had fallen apart. I had reached the end of myself — and that is where God met me.
That turning point began my journey into what I now call the Eternal Life of Excellence. Today, as a Born‑Again Believer, I live with the confidence that my life has purpose, my relationships are restored, and my eternal rewards will continue to grow even after I enter the Kingdom of God.
Through my first set of memoir videos, I share how the Abundant Life did not begin with success — it began with failure, surrender, and God’s rescue. He found me, as I pray He has found you or soon will, and gave me a new identity as His beloved child. He offered forgiveness, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the promise of eternal life in a glorified body that will never experience pain or sorrow.
My videos — available on this site and on my YouTube channel — explain how anyone with even a small measure of faith can begin this same journey.
Over the next forty years, I grew in wisdom, faith, and practical understanding of how to walk in the Abundant Life of Yeshua (Jesus) described in John 10:10. My calling today is expressed in my tagline:
“I’m living the Eternal Life of Excellence — may I help you live yours.”
My coaching and mentorship are grounded in Scripture, strengthened by an academic degree, shaped by a 40‑year business career in professional sales and management, and enriched by decades of service as an ordained Pastor, Messianic Rabbi, and certified Chaplain.
